What is the Southern Consortium?

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) partners with counties and tribes to help you apply for or
enroll in programs such as:

• BadgerCare Plus
• Medicaid
• Child Care
• FoodShare

 

These county agencies are called income maintenance or economic support agencies. County agencies join together to form a consortium. Consortiums can assist you in:

• Answering questions about eligibility and benefits
• Applying for benefits
• Conducting food share interviews
• Process your applications, benefit changes and renewals, and documentation/verification management

 

The following counties are part of the SOUTHERN CONSORTIUM:
